Reporting to the President of Golden Acres Genetics, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the successful management of the company's seed product portfolio and effective interface with all management functions within the company. The ideal candidate will contribute to growing an independent, regional seed company with a tradition-rich brand name into the leading southern based company of innovative, market-driven products and services.
Qualifications
Extensive working knowledge of the seed industry;
Strong strategic marketing management background;
Agronomic and/or customer service background a definite plus;
Self-motivated with the ability to set priorities and work with urgency;
Experience in cross-functional projects and teams;
Web experience with sites from concept to launch;
Outstanding oral and written communication skills;
Strong ability to multitask to produce effective results;
High energy with strong drive to deliver results;
Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to enter an established organization and successfully identify opportunity and implement action;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Education Requirement
B.A. / B.S. required; preferably in Agriculture; MBA a plus.
